Kampana tower, KotorThe Kampana tower is located at the south-west corner of the Fortifications of Kotor.
Hotel Fjord, KotorDuring the communist regime in former Yugoslavia, Hotel Fjord was a popular destination. Built in 1986, it had 155 rooms, including presidential suites, and other hotel amenities. It was closed in 2005 for demolition and is still waiting to face it's faith. The location is great and this would be a perfect place to stay if the hotel was renewed.

Fortifications of KotorThe Fortifications of Kotor was added to the list of World Heritage Sites in 1979. This is the only such site of cultural significance in Montenegro.

Church of St Luke, Kotor Old TownThe Church of Saint Luke in Kotor Old Town dates back to the 12th century. It is famous for it's two altars, a Catholic one and an Orthodox one. This shows the religious tolerance of the Kotor people.
Inside St. Nicholas's ChurchBuilt in the 18th century, the Saint Nicholas's Church houses a 4000 volumes library. This is a relatively new church, built in 1909, but it looks older and if you have the chance to visit the Church of Saint Nicholas you will be amazed at the beautiful interior.
Lady of Our Health Church, KotorThe Lady of Our Health Church was built halfway up St. John's Mountain in the 16th century. From there the you can enjoy fantastic views of Kotor Old Town and the Bay of Kotor.
Church of Our Lady of Health, KotorThe Church of Our Lady of Health can be reached by climbing around 500 steps up the Saint John's Mountain. The church is built in baroque style in the 16th century and the bell tower was added in the early 19th century.
St. John CastleThe St. John Castle is located on top of St. John Mountain just above Kotor.
Stairs to St. John CastleThere are around 1300 steps to climb until you reach the St. John Castle. It is worth the climb and you will be rewarded with great views of Kotor Old Town and the Bay of Kotor.
